You bet it does! These results from the ASCRS survey indicate that a full 86% of people who had the eye surgery felt that they were well informed of the benefits and risks of the surgery before hand.

Also, over half of these people said that they delayed getting the surgery done for more than a year while they considered their options.

Interestingly, most of the small minority of people who said that they are not satisfied with their eye surgery results are in the group that felt they were not too well informed about the benefits and risks of laser eye surgery!

So it seems that due diligence is one step you need to take when wanting to be satisfied with laser eye surgery!
