Cataracts - A New Surgery
There is a new cataract surgery that could make it so that you don’t need glasses!
The surgery is about the same price as LASIK surgery, and involves putting a new type of lens (called a presbyopia-correcting intra-ocular lens) in your eye.
This new lens can fix both myopia (nearsightedness) and hyperopia (farsightedness). If you don’t like glasses then take note because around 80% of people who have the surgery don’t have to use glasses anymore.
One way you can offset the costs is that a portion is covered by Medicare now.
Have a great day!
