It all depends on whether the procedure is considered cosmetic or not.

Now if you can claim your eye surgery as a deduction, it will likely put you over the minimum threshold of medical expenses.

Especially considering that laser eye surgery procedures can cost up to $3,000 and more for each eye.

So if you are considering laser eye surgery, you could get a nice tax claim out of it.
