Hyperiopia as we learned a couple of days ago is the technical term for farsightedness. With hyperopia your eyeball is shorter than normal. Said another way your cornea is less steep than normal.
Glasses or contact lenses are the most common treatment for hyperopia, but laser eye surgery can also be used to make your cornea steeper and correct hyperopia.
