Should You Consider Eye Surgery To Correct Myopia?
If you don’t want to wear contacts or glasses all the time, then refractive eye surgery may be your best bet for correcting nearsightedness (myopia).
LASIK and PRK laser eye surgery options are availalbe for treating myopia. These procedures remove a layer of your corneal tissue which will allow the light rays to focus closer to your retina, and thereby improve your vision.
There are some non-surgical treatments that use a special type of contact lens which slowly reshape the cornea temporarily. Eventually you wear the contacts at night while you sleep and can go for the day without them.
So, yes eye surgery is something to consider to fix your myopia!
Have a super day!
